I spend a lot of time every day communicating and marketing to various influencers. It’s not easy, especially since the internet is so saturated with marketers trying to communicate with USA Email Database each other and many don’t have any sense of boundaries. Simply asking for a favor is no longer enough.
You have to be willing to go so well that they can’t say no. But what does that imply? How do you convince the leading marketing gurus to share your content with the rest of the world? Answering that last question with complete honesty is nothing. There is nothing that makes you much more special than all marketers, so you better offer your influencer a great partnership. Locate a group of influencers
The SumoMe blog has a very useful and practical guide to creating a content calendar and increasing your website traffic. He explained a method to consider when putting together a list of influencers.
Start by creating an Excel document that lists some “top-level” influencers that you would like to work with. If you need a reference, this outreach guide highlights my personal tips for getting in touch with them.
You should end up with something like this:

Start filling it out with influencer names and links to your best content. Make sure the people you include in your spreadsheet have audiences who find your product useful and engaging. You want to make sure you are relevant to all the influencers on the list. After all, would a cat open a dog training school? No, because that’s crazy. Do not go crazy.
Start your analysis
Well, this is the part that takes a long time. If you want to maximize your potential to work with influencers and strengthen your relationship with them, you need to do your research.
Start by finding highlights from each of the influencer’s articles. The reason you have multiple columns is to find multiple opportunities to create infographics, but also so that you can tackle your analysis bit by bit.
At this point, you’re probably thinking, “But Nadya, I thought you said that I should try to fill each column with 50 contacts. Are you expecting me to review 250 articles? “
I said it was a lot of work. However, you don’t need to study every blog post thoroughly. That would take your whole life, and by then someone would definitely have overtaken you.
Start your scope
Once your spreadsheet is packed with practical, condensed information from the pros, you can start to do your scoping. Do this before you start creating the infographic to make sure there is at least some interest in what you are doing.
Try something like:
“Hello [FIRST NAME]
I’m working on an infographic about [SUBJECT] called [TITLE]. I read this article [URL] you wrote and pulled out some of the juiciest and most practical advice.
Would you be interested in taking a look once it is complete?
That is all. Don’t ask them to post it on your blog, don’t ask them to share it. Don’t ask them for anything! Just see if you can spark any interest. Not everyone will contact you, but those who do, please save their responses in a separate folder in your email. After a few days, you should have a fairly decent-sized hit list.
Share your infographic with the world
Finally, once everything seems to be going well, you can send your infographic to all those influencers who showed interest. Don’t forget to include sources and links to your blog posts at the bottom of your infographic.
Now is where you can ask them to share the infographic or add it to the existing post.

If the infographic is specifically targeting that content and includes exact quotes from your article with a source link pointing to that blog post, it’s a win-win situation.
